Hi, guys!

I have a new book out. Well, I have two new books out. One is the guidebook for the Scorpio Sea Tarot, Navigating the Scorpio Sea, in which I got to work with one of my favorite people, Maggie Stiefvater. It’s based on her book The Scorpio Races, which you should totally read. HOWEVER, the deck can work independently from the book. It’s all good. You should also check out Maggie’s Raven Cycle deck. She’s a bonafide swamp witch and is good with tarot.

The OTHER new book is Kitchen Table Magic. I’m going to be sharing some spells that AREN’T from the book this month, and thank you to everyone who has sent emails and notes about how much you dig it. I don’t read reviews, so this makes my whole day.

These spells are ones that I found after the book was released, or ones that I’ve just made up. This one? This one is made up.

I am a strong believer that you create your own luck. Think of it as a river. If you get stuck in some rocks, it’s your job to paddle your way to open water. When you get stuck in a current of bad luck, it’s your job to do everything you can to turn that around.

Grab a post it and a pen. Write a note to the Universe. You don’t have to be fancy. fWrite something like “Today is the day that my luck turns around”.

Plant a tree or a plant or a flower. Bury your intention in the pot and tend to it every day. Since this is magic, and we can do what we want, you can also decorate the top of the soil with some Citrine – a super shiny stone that is great for bringing you good luck.

Next comes the daily tending to your luck. In a journal, write down every good thing that happens to you in a day. Pay attention to it. Water your plant every day. When you water it, imagine that you’re the plant and the Universe is showering you with blessings.

In a month or so, go back to the first day and literally count your blessings. Do you see the number of daily blessings growing? How’s your plant doing?

If you don’t believe in magic, you can chalk this up to being attentive to good things and grateful actually makes you a happier person. If you do? Blam, you just did magic. Nice job. 🙂

You can find Kitchen Table Magic wherever you like to buy books.

Housekeeping!

Kitchen Table Magic I’m selling Vandalized copies in my shop. You guys peer pressured me into getting more, but there are only 21 left and I’M NOT GETTING ANY MORE. I don’t care how nice you are. 🙂 So this is it, guys.

The Scorpio Sea Tarot is out, too! I love seeing pictures of it and you (and your pets) Maggie Stiefvater and I worked really hard on this deck, and I’m glad you dig it. It’s based on the characters from her book The Scorpio Races, which is one of my favorites. On the Isle of Thisby, in the cold Northern Sea, this deck lives in the same place as Sean and Puck. You’ll see their families, their community, and the creatures you’ll find around them. It’s really a love letter to the culture and community that the story lives in, and I hope you dig it.

Kitchen Table Gathering!  There are still tickets available. Check out my facebook page for interviews with George, Rudy and Ellen. 🙂

George is teaching Money and Tarot, Rudy is teaching healing, Ellen is teaching how to care for yourself before, during and after readings, and I’m teaching protection magic and making witch bottles with you guys. 😀 It’s gonna be good.

And as always, phone and email readings are available. Email readings are $40 and are answered within 5 days of the question. This price won’t ever change, as long as I offer them. I know things are tight, guys. <3
