There is a difference between a house and a home. You can feel it as soon as you walk through the door. Houses feel…beige. It doesn’t matter how long someone has lived there, if they haven’t taken the time to make it a home, or haven’t had the support that they needed to do so, it is just a place that they live.
If it’s a HOME, you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. You can get something from the fridge, pooch up on the couch, fall asleep in the comfy chair. Any of these, with ease. A home is more than a place to hang your hat.
Today, I’m going to share a spell to help your home feel more….home-y. We’re all spending a lot more time at home these days, so it’s good to feel safe and protected while you’re there.

Bless this Home
First – clean your house as best as you can. This is important, because we don’t want to drag old dirt into your new home vibe.
Next, starting at the lowest level, use smoke from incense or an herb bundle to “paint the walls” asking good energy to stay and bad energy to leave. Sprinkle some salt on the windowsills and on every doorway.Light a candle in each room after you’ve blessed it. You can also say prayers or any words that help you lighten the space.
Work your way upstairs and do every room (even the bathrooms) and end up at your front door. Slam the door when you’re finished.
Now, go have a cup of tea and enjoy your peaceful home.
I hope you all are doing well!
xoxo Lis
