Deck Review Interview

I hope this deck finds you well ❤ – Taylor Haigh

 Well, hello, lovely.
Well, hello, lovely.

I got the Fox Tarot as a gift from my love, Jaymi Elford. I seem to draw Foxen things to myself (I’m not mad about it) and this is the first Fox themed deck that I’ve found. It’s just lovely. It’s astrology based, which is not my jam, but you can read the deck without the astrology aspect coming into play AND if you are an astrology nerd, you are all set.

Card Stock – It’s thick! It’s stiff and doesn’t shuffle easily at first. The thing I like about this is that it’s not going to tear and get all fucked up on the edges like thinner cardstock decks. The thing that bothers me is that it hurts a bit when I first had the deck. the more I use it, though, the better it feels.

Representation – not really an issue as the artwork is line drawings of animals and astrological symbols.

Artwork – This is one of the few black and white decks that I really dig. I think that the artwork lends itself to black, gray and white, and this one cat who shoots lasers out of its eyes and also there is a frog.

The creator of the Fox Tarot is Taylor Haigh. You can find more about Taylor, her artwork and life with critters on an island in Canada in the links below, and in the Questionnaire.
