Melissa Cynova Terry Iacuzzo is the first person to make me feel like I was not insane.
She wrote a book in 2004 about her life as a psychic raised in a family of psychics. I know something about this. The way that she described picking up on information that she didn’t have access to, just *knew* things that she shouldn’t know – she made those things that scared me and made me unsure of my gifts seem normal.
I was lucky enough to get to talk to her a few years ago, and we became friends. I can’t tell you how much I love this woman. She’s been a professional psychic since the 1960’s, and has more grace and common sense than I could ever wish for.
Terry is coming out of retirement this summer to teach at the Omega Institute. I got to teach here last year, and it is one of the best tarot experiences I’ve ever had. It’s a concentrated period of time to learn from world class teachers in an intimate setting. The other teachers this year are my friend Benebell Wen, amazing author Michelle Tea, and the wonderful Mary K. Greer and Rachel Pollack.
