I don’t get readings very often, but I’m pretty particular about who reads for me. I reached out to V when I was super stressed and this woman SAW me. She made everything better, too. I first heard about V from Ryan Edward, artist and card-slinger. He said that he’d met a woman at Readers Studio with such energy and vivacity that he knew we’d be good friends.
He wasn’t wrong. Meet V. She’s a badass. You can find her at the links below.

LFT Questionnaire
1. What you appreciate the most in your friends.
I appreciate loyalty and a sense of humor the most in my friends. I’m an odd ball and if you can’t laugh at/with me and rock with me through all my shenanigans (or have some of your own), then I would feel like I couldn’t be my complete self
2. Your idea of happiness.
Happiness is the freedom to be completely myself, whatever that may look like on any given day. Some days I’m “Nerdy Nancy” and I just want to read, study, and have intellectual conversation. Other days I’m “Say What Now!?! Sophia”, with an off-the-wall idea and in need of a Partner In Crime to make trouble with. Being able to stretch and grow into myself without boundaries is my idea of bliss.
3. Your idea of misery.
My idea of misery is allowing oneself to try and grow under the shade of other people’s judgements; it’s like suffocating on dry land. To play a role that is foreign to the spirit in hopes of appeasing others is unnatural and brings to mind the feeling of claustrophobia. “Nobody puts Baby in the corner!”
4. Your favorite colors and flowers.
My favorite colors are red (OF COURSE), pink, black, and blue. My favorite flowers are Gerbera Daisies.
5. Your favorite poets.
My favorite poets are Rupi Kaur, Maya Angelou, Shel Silverstein, Michael Faudet, and Myself.
6. Your heroes/heroines in fiction.
Alice from Alice in Wonderland is my all-time favorite heroine. She was completely herself in a world that made absolutely no sense to her and in the end, she didn’t rely on anyone to get her back home; she saved herself.
7. What role does divination play in your life?
Divination IS life!!! I eat, pray, love divining! I am a person that thrives on connection, with myself and others and I use this talent/gift/skill to do just that. Between having a full-time job, my own business, being a single mother, and a hoopdance performer, I have mastered the art of A.D.D. – All Day Divining! I use divining methods to choose what to make for dinner, what to wear in the morning, how best to relate to my kid when he doesn’t want to do his homework, and navigating the dating world.
8. Your heroes/heroines in real life.
My Mom is my hero in real life. She’s the REAL MVP! She is the strongest woman I know. Her heart, care, and concern for others is still beyond my understanding. She is the most patient and well-put-together woman I have ever met and being her daughter has shown me how to be all of those things and more.
9. What is your present state of mind?
I am currently ruling Wonderland. I fell down the rabbit hole a few years back and it was a shock to the senses. I was confused and overwhelmed for a good long time trying to understand and make sense of things that were not created to be made sense of. It was only when I stopped trying to change my environment and started trusting and believing in myself that things took a turn. I let go of judgements, perfection, and expectation and decided to free fall into life. The ability to change my perspective has become my greatest super power.
10. What is your favorite tarot deck or divination tool?
My favorite tools are cards – Tarot and Lenormand. My current dynamic duo is the Rana George Lenormand and Kristi Prokopiak’s “The Illest Tarot”. Rana’s deck is like butter in my hands. The colors, the gold embossing, and even the smell are all treats to my senses (I’m a Taurus, lol). Kristi’s deck is LIFE!!!!! I usually don’t connect with decks that don’t have illustrated pips, but her court cards and Major Arcana COMPLETELY make up for that! It’s a deck based largely on 90’s pop culture, so I grew up with the characters and artists that she uses. This deck also allows me to speak my language when I read. I am a very down-to-earth, practical, and dare I say, sassy reader. When I use The Illest Tarot, I don’t feel like I have to censor my language or change my delivery when reading, it just flows naturally.
11. Your favorite songs?
How much time do you have? LOL! The ENTIRE Purple Rain and Dirty Dancing albums, anything by Rhianna, P!nk, and Banks, “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars, “Something Just Like This” by The Chainsmokers & Coldplay, “Believer” by Imagine Dragons, “Let It Go” by James Bay, “Formation” by Beyonce, and “Numb Encore Mashup” by Jay-Z & Linkin Park, just to name a few.
12. What is your favorite word?
Energy.
13. What is your least favorite word?
Can’t/Shouldn’t.
14. What sound or noise do you love?
Thunder, rain, and laughter.
15. What sound or noise do you hate?
Awkward silence
16. What turns you on?
Stimulating conversation, quick wit, a colorful and diverse vocabulary, a sense of humor, innuendo-laden banter, fresh breath, and a nice smile. Oh and books. Always books, lol.
17. What turns you off?
Pessimism, arrogance/ego stemming from fear, the inability to hold a conversation that has nothing to do with sex, cigarettes, bad breath, a hatred for things that aren’t understood, and being judgmental.
18. What is your favorite curse word?
FUCK! I have to pick just one???
19. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
“Did you bring your cards? I wanna pick your brain about something…” 😉
