I went to the Soulful Proprietor workshop in October. It was amazing. I talked about it here and on my Fb page a bit. It was the first Tarot Thing ™ that I’ve ever gone to, and it made the difference, truly, in my decision to keep doing what I do.
One of the badass women I met there was Megan Potter. She and her husband, Jeff, run Limitless Living. After the event, we got an email full of goodies from Theresa and other attendees. Megan had submitted a “Money Clearing”. This is best described as kind of a reiki recording that helps scrape layers of bullshit away from your relationship with money.
I didn’t listen to it. For a while. I forgot, because I do that. Welp, things were a little tight, and I’d just backed into my partner’s car, so I thought it seemed like a great time to do something with my relationship with money (besides give it the finger). I listened to the Money Clearing, and about 10 minutes after, I got a call from my insurance company. We got $$ from the accident and it was being deposited that second into my account. OH, kay. I called Megan and squealed at her for a bit.
Here’s where it gets weird. I had three new clients that week, and two the next. My partner got into a car accident (he’s ok) and his car was totaled (He’s ok), and the money from that was enough to get him the car he wanted. And we have extra.
Long story short – in the two weeks after I listened to Megan’s Money Clearing, my guy and I had drastically improved our bank accounts and stress levels. Drastically. I wanted to share this, not only to write it down so I wouldn’t think that I was crazy later, but because it’s a cool thing to do. Getting into right relations with something as important as money is a big deal. I’m going to listen again.

ALSO – and this is cool – Here is the Tarot Questionnaire filled out by Megan and Jeff Potter. ENJOY! I did. 😀
The Tarot Questionnaire
1. What you appreciate the most in your friends.
Open-mindedness, Loquaciousness, and a desire to learn! Plus a generous heart.
Jeff’s Answer: The possibility of being food during the Zombie Apocalypse
2. Your idea of happiness.
Walking up in the morning and looking forward to getting out of bed and seeing what comes today. It seems simple, but being able to look forward to life is a highly under-rated thing.
Jeff’s Answer: Having enough friends to have spares during the zombie apocalypse
3. Your idea of misery.
Being trapped doing the same thing over and over – having no control over my time – having to put up with close-minded people.
Jeff’s Answer: Missing out on the Zombie Apocalypse
4. Where would you like to live?
Well if anything was possible I’d live in Marin County just outside San Francisco. But I’ll settle for Australia.
Jeff’s Answer: I just want my own island in the tropics
5. Your favorite colors and flowers.
Silver – not gold. Purple, pink and apple green. I understand that these are cliched girly colours and I’d like to apologize for this, I AM a feminist. I just also happen to like Spring colours. I don’t particularly have a favourite flower.
Jeff’s Answer: Green. Probably lilacs (actually, that would be my answer too – megan)
6. Your favorite poets.
I haven’t read poetry in years. Elizabeth Barret Browning and Chel Silverstein. Shut up, they go together.
Jeff’s Answer: Dr. Seuss.
7. Your favorite heroes in fiction.
Wonder woman (I own all things Wonder Woman). Dick Greyson (Nightwing). The trio from Harry Potter.
Jeff’s Answer: Hermione.
8. Your favorite heroines in fiction.
I shall pretend you didn’t ask this question – why can’t women be the answer to the first question?(because I thought it would be cool to see both men and women that you admired-LFT) (Turns out we both answered the first question with women 😀 – megan)
9. Your heroes in real life.
I’m not sure I have one, I’m the kind of person who looks at others as whole people, so even someone I admire or like is someone I expect to have failings and weaknesses and struggles so I don’t tend to idealize people.
Jeff’s Answer: Dean Karnasis and Les Stroud, and Bear Grylis. Bruce Lee.
10. Your favorite heroines in real life?
Again, I shall pretend you didn’t ask this. (Ok.-LFT)
11. What is your present state of mind?
I’m thinking about hurting my husband as he won’t stop annoying me. Until he started doing that I was pretty much blissful.
Jeff’s Answer: Empty.
12. What is your favorite tarot deck or divination tool?
Tarot is my most used divination tool (primarily because it’s the one I know the best). I tend to go through phases with tarot decks but what I’ve been reading with the most lately are: Joie De Vivre Tarot, Gaian Tarot and the Light Visions Tarot. (In between sending this and reviewing it I also got the Book of Shadows: So Below deck *Swoon*)
Jeff’s Answer: Mediumship.
13. Your favorite songs?
Dance In the Graveyards – Delta Rae
Dog Days are Over – Florence and the Machine
Jeff’s Answer: I’ve got a dream by Alan Menken and Row row row your boat (just kidding, but now that’s stuck in your head – hahaha)
14. What is your favorite word?
Fantabulous. It’s Fantastic and Fabulous in one word.
Also Fuck, it’s a good word.
Jeff’s Answer: Excellent (ala Monty Burns)
15. What is your least favorite word?
Something like “discipline” or a “schedule” – you know those Type A words that make you feel like work should be hard and life can’t be relaxed…
Jeff’s Answer: Work
16. What sound or noise do you love?
A cat’s purr
Jeff’s Answer: My own laughter
17. What sound or noise do you hate?
An alarm clock beeping
Jeff’s Answer: Bears eating my camping food (yes that really happened)
18. What turns you on?
Strength and especially using it for others. And hands, I really like hands.
Jeff’s Answer: Boobs. (He’s terribly upset I put this as he doesn’t like to talk about these things publicly. – megan)
19. What turns you off?
Asshole-ery: inconsiderateness, meanness.
Jeff’s Answer: Ignorance and superiority (someone who thinks they can do whatever they want)
20. What is your favorite curse word?
Fuck, because it’s so flexible. It can be “fuckit” or “fuckery” or all kinds of words…
Jeff’s Answer: Chicken Butt.
21. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
You got it. You totally got what I was going for here!
Jeff’s Answer: Yo Homey. (Also, his name is Bob.)
Thanks, Jeff and Megan!
Megan is currently offering monthly horoscopes that you can find here. It’s such a cool form of astrology – she offers ideas about how to handle the energy coming your way, and there is a badass soundtrack included. It doesn’t feel like a regular “Here is your month” general horoscope. It feels a bit like a counseling session. I can’t recommend Megan’s care and gifts enough. Go see for yourself.
